The booster pump is actually a kind of centrifugal pump, which is a centrifugal pump used for pressurization, they are just named at different angles, and the main flow parts of the centrifugal pump are the suction chamber, impeller and pressurized water chamber. The suction chamber is located in front of the water inlet of the impeller and plays the role of directing the liquid to the impeller; There are three main forms of pressurized water chamber: spiral pressurized water chamber (volute type), guide vane and space guide vane; The impeller is the most important working element of the pump, the heart of the overflow part, and the impeller is composed of a cover plate and a vane in the middle.
With multistage centrifugal pump, single-stage centrifugal pump is not enough to reach 30 meters head, according to the source of water to choose pipeline centrifugal pump or suction centrifugal pump.
The working principle of the suction centrifugal pump
Before the centrifugal pump works, the pump is filled with liquid, and then the centrifugal pump is started, the impeller rotates rapidly, the blades of the impeller drive the liquid to rotate, and the liquid flows to the outer edge of the impeller by inertia when it rotates, and the impeller sucks the liquid from the suction chamber at the same time, in this process, the liquid in the impeller flows around the blades, and the liquid acts on the blades in the circling motion, and in turn the blades act on the liquid with a force equal to the size of the lift and the opposite direction, and this force does work on the liquid, so that the liquid gets energy and flows out of the impeller. At this time, the kinetic energy and pressure energy of the liquid increase.
