Structure and composition

The Jet pump for deep wells is mainly composed of a nozzle, a suction chamber, a mixing chamber, a diffusion chamber and other parts. The nozzle is usually a gradually constricting pipe, sometimes with a cylindrical section, used to convert the pressure energy of the working fluid into kinetic energy. The suction chamber is located at the outlet of the nozzle to form a low-pressure area to suck in low-pressure fluid. The mixing chamber is used to The high-pressure fluid and the low-pressure fluid are mixed and the momentum is exchanged. The expansion chamber is used to convert part of the kinetic energy of the fluid back into pressure energy.

Working principle

The working principle of the Jet pump for deep wells is based on the high-speed jet generated when high-pressure fluid passes through the nozzle. This high-speed jet forms a low-pressure area in the suction chamber, thereby sucking in the low-pressure fluid. In the mixing chamber, the high-speed fluid and the inhaled fluid are mixed to exchange momentum, and then the fluid enters the diffusion chamber, where the speed slows down and the static pressure increases, and is finally discharged at a higher pressure.
